Leeds, Bradford & the surrounding areas have a wealth of history & Culture with Bradford winning the Uk's city of culture bid for 2025. Within walking distance from your lodge you have the Unesco world heritage site of Saltaire where you'll find the 1853 art gallery, home to one of the largest collections from Bradford born artist David Hockney. After your visit to the mill there are often boat trips available to take you on a short journey along a section of the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
If Novels are more you thing why not take a ride out to Haworth on the Worth Valley Steam train and explore Brontë country with a visit to one of the worlds oldest literary societies.
After all of that, if you're still up for it, how about a trip to a west end show right here in bradford? The Alhambra in Bradford often shows some brilliant shows along with the occasional touring west end show.
